Ashley, a Murfreesboro native, graduated from Vanderbilt in 2001 with a Masters in Nursing. She began her career working as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care and transitioned into a full-time aesthetic nurse and skin care specialist in 2010.
Ashley is married to Shane and they have 3 boys – Eli, Luke and Drew. Her loves include traveling, reading, Burn Boot Camp and anything related to skin care and aesthetics.

Blair Akers, RN, BSN has been a resident of Murfreesboro since 1997. She graduated from MTSU School of Nursing in 2006. Blair began her nursing career at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in the NICU where she worked for 10 years. Aesthetic medicine became a passion for her thanks to Ashley McFarland. Blair joined Ashley at Ashley McFarland Aesthetics in 2017, and it was a positive and exciting professional decision. Blair continually expands her knowledge base and skill sets by attending aesthetic specific trainings.

Fun Fact: Blair is married to her high school sweetheart, Chuck Akers, and they have two beautiful children, Layne and Nori. Blair enjoys watching her children’s sporting events and loves college baseball. She was also a collegiate athlete herself, running the 800 meter and cross country. Blair loves being a part of the AMA team.
Kristi has considered Murfreesboro her home for 30 years. She attended MTSU and received her BS degree in Early Childhood Development and Education. She graduated in 1994 and began a teaching career as a Rutherford County School Teacher. After a period of time teaching, marrying and raising two girls, Kristi decided on a career change. She followed her growing passion of skin are and attended Aveda Institute of Nashville. She received her Aesthetician's License and quickly became TN State certified. Her aesthetic career started in Brentwood, TN at a Dermatology and Medical Aesthetic office. Kristi is thrilled to now be working in her hometown with Ashley McFarland Aesthetics and can't wait to help others look and feel great. She feels a great connection with her patients and loves educating and helping others start on an effective skin care program as well as plan individual treatment programs.
When not working, you will find Kristi spending time with husband Bill of 25 years and her 2 beautiful daughters Kelton and Emma. She loves to read, enjoys true crime and mystery podcast and is constantly planning and decorating her "work in progress home". She also enjoys the ever growing world of aesthetics with research and training as this is something that she always makes time for.

Brittney was born and raised in Murfreesboro. At 16 years old she started working in the Cosmetic / Aesthetic industry thinking it would just be a part time job through high school and college not knowing that this is when she would start her career. The first few months of working Brittney found her love for all things beauty and educating others on how to help themselves look and feel their best. She joined the AMA team in 2020! Brittney is newly married to her husband, Jake. They are expecting their first baby in September.

Courtney was born in California and raised in the South Florida. After migrating to Tennessee, Courtney attended MTSU where she focused on health education. Upon graduating, Courtney took her skill set to Nashville where she worked in plastic and cosmetic surgery. It was there that she grew a passion for the diverse field of aesthetics. Courtney is married to her husband, Ryan. With any spare time, Courtney can be found packing to travel someplace new.

Fun Fact: Courtney loves an adrenaline rush. Whether skydiving over the mountains or swimming with sharks in Bora Bora, she is always up to try something once. Same could be said about her future skin care regime or any aesthetic procedures!
Kelton was born and raised in Murfreesboro. She attends MTSU where she studies Organizational Leadership with a minor in Nutrition and Food Science. Kelton has always been intrigued by the world of aesthetics. Her love has since grown watching her mom receive her Aesthetician’s license. Now Kristi and Kelton get to work together all while combining two of Kelton’s passions: the world of aesthetics and marketing!

Kim has lived in Murfreesboro, TN, since 1992 and graduated from MTSU with a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. As a licensed Certified Public Accountant, Kim has over 20 years of experience ranging from corporate to public accounting and small business accounting. She is married to her husband Derrick and together have two sons Carter and Jake.
