The wait is FINALLY over! Ashley McFarland Aesthetics is excited to announce that Fraxel is here and ready to transform your skin and reverse the clock!
What is Fraxel and how does it work?
Fraxel is a resurfacing laser that goes beyond any traditional laser by using two wavelengths to treat the surface of the skin and stimulate collagen beneath the skin to help deliver results that you can see and feel. This treatment can be fully customizable depending on your skin needs.
What does Fraxel do for the skin?
Fraxel can treat the following:
- Fine lines
- Brown spots
- Sun damage
- Age spots
- Surgical scars
- Acne scars
What areas of the body can I treat?
If you have a skin issue in need of help, Fraxel can address and treat it. Some areas include, but are not limited to:
How many sessions will I need?
Most studies suggest that on average, an effective treatment regimen is 3 sessions spaced about 4 weeks apart. Depending on your condition and schedule, you and your provider may choose to space treatment sessions further apart. Results are immediate and progressive, with optimal improvement usually visible in 2 to 3 months. This time frame and treatment structure allow for healing and the production of new collagen to replace damaged tissue.
What can I expect after my treatment?
Depending on the aggressiveness of the treatment, you may experience redness or swelling after the procedure that diminishes as quickly as the next day or over the next several days. More aggressive treatments, such as ablative procedures with Fraxel repair, require more downtime. As for results there are both immediate and progressive results. Soon after the treatment, the surface of your skin will feel softer, look brighter and show more even tone. The next 3 to 6 months will bring additional improvement as the deeper layers of the skin continues.
Why do you use PRP with my Fraxel treatment?
Fraxel and PRP are powerful on their own, but together they offer a powerhouse treatment that will transform and rejuvenate your appearance. Studies show clear benefits for patients who opt for PRP with their laser resurfacing, including additional collagen production, less redness, and a speedier recovery.
How much does a treatment cost?
Fraxel with PRP can be broken down into the following costs:
- $1350 Face or $3495 for a series of 3
- $1550 Face + neck or $4195 for a series of 3
- $1750 Face + neck + chest or $4650 for a series of 3
